Academic recognition of educational documents

1. Educational state documents issued by educational institutions of:

Abkhazia, the Republic of Azerbaijan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Republic of Moldova, the Republic of Tajikistan, the Republic of South Ossetia, Turkmenistan, Ukraine, 

referring to RF documents on basic general education or secondary (full) general education, are accepted upon admission to educational institutions of the Russian Federation without documents issued by Rosobrnadzor and certifying their recognition on the territory of the Russian Federation. I.e., a certificate of equivalence is not required.

2. The applicants with educational documents issued in other foreign countries not specified in paragraph 1 must submit to the Academy's admissions committee a document issued by Rosobrnadzor certifying their recognition on the territory of the Russian Federation.

3. It is necessary to go through the procedure of recognition of a document of education (nostrification) to obtain a Certificate. The recognition and establishment of equivalence of foreign educational documents or academic titles and the issuance of the relevant certificate are carried out under personal request of the applicant. The financial fees of recognizing and establishing the equivalence of foreign education are under the applicant.

The procedure for of recognizing and establishing the equivalence of foreign education is carried out at the Glavexpertcenter (Rosobrnadzor).
