International cooperation is one of the strategic directions of all activities of the Academy and is considered as a way to improve its own education system and as a mechanism to train specialists who are able to adapt quickly and work productively on the international market. Objectives of the international program:
— Equipping students with skills in accordance with the requirements of international companies.
— Promotion of the Academy in the international educational community.
— Creating conditions for academic and student mobility.
The international program is implemented by the department of international projects and programs with the involvement of students and staff of the Academy.
Trip to the international youth camp in Hungary (July 21-28, 2019)
The trip is organized by the sister city of Togliatti - Nagykanizsa, Hungary. The program will include cultural and sports events, city tours and a reception at the city hall. You can find information about how the trip will go on the pages of the Localfriends project on social networks.
Localfriends 2019 International Youth Conference (Togliatti, 21st – 25th of September 2019)
Conference participants - youth from sister and partner cities: Wolfsburg (Germany), Nagykanizsa (Hungary), Novo Mesto (Slovenia), Togliatti (Russia). Goal of the Conference is to form ideas and project proposals for Togliatti city with two focuses: smart city and developing tourism potential.
Localfriends - international youth project, which is carried out jointly with the administration of Togliatti. The basic idea is that schoolchildren and students from sister cities maintain communication with each other and talk about events from their cities.
Project on social networks:
Expat63 is an English-language portal about Samara region. Content for it is created by students of the Academy (photos, videos, articles).
Blender is an English-language and Russian-language business online magazine on the social network “VKontakte”, for which students of the 3rd and 4th year write articles in accordance with their professional interests.
Competition of youth projects "Smart City"
In December 2018, the Ceetrus company (formerly Immochan) together with Togliatti Academy of Management and CityLabTLT conducted a competition of business projects for an entertainment and educational complex on the territory of the Aquarelle shopping center. High school students had to develop a project based on the concepts of Smart City and Edutainment. Their work was organized by students of the Academy.
Reaching the regional finals of the “Hult Prize” International competition
In March 2018, a team of 3 students from Togliatti Academy of Management reached the regional finals of the international "Hult Prize" competition on “Improving the lives of 10 million people through electricity”, which was held at the Tunis Business School (Tunis). Organizers of the "Hult Prize" competition: Hult International Business School and the United Nations Foundation. A team of students presented the project "Newance" at the event.
Reaching the semifinals of the Valeo Innovation Challenge
In March 2017, the team of the Togliatti Academy of Management reached the semifinals of the annual international competition of projects of the French company Valeo in the nomination "New ways to use cars" and became the only representative of Russia. 24 teams from Russia, China, France, Germany, Greece, India, Italy, Poland, Spain and others made it to the semifinals. 1,628 teams from 80 countries and 748 universities took part in the competition.
Prizes in the competition of projects of the French company Immochan
In May 2016, four teams of students of Togliatti Academy of Management took part in the contest “Development of the Festival House entertainment zone in the Aquarelle shopping center in Pushkino” by the French company Immochan. Two teams of the Academy went to the finals and in October 2016 took the 2nd and 3rd place in the competition.
Round table "Staffing of international companies in Samara region: the French experience"
On May 19, 2015, the round table “Staffing of international companies in Samara region: the French experience” was held. Organizers: Embassy of France in Russia, Government of the Samara Region, Office of the Mayor City of Togliatti, Togliatti Academy of Management and Alliance Francaise Togliatti. The topic of discussion was the requirements of companies to potential employees, the competence that personnel must have in accordance with international standards, the technology of work of educational institutions of Togliatti and Samara region in preparing the required professional and managerial personnel.
